THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

So ahh, I'm pretty much back in my room! I still don't have a bed, tv/tv stand, proper curtains or a usable closet, so a lot of my things are still in bags and shit around my house. XD;

Uhm, work is decent! I keep getting shitty shifts (Like 5-midnight, then 7-3 the next morning x_x) but it's a job, and everyone I work with is nice! (I already made 3 friends! )

Art is... Bleh. I haven't drawn anything in a couple days, and same with writing (Aside from a couple small roleplays.) I have worked on my cosplays more, even tho I have to make a new pair of paws for my Umbreon one since they shoes are a bit uncomfortable when I wear socks (And I HATE the feeling of shoes without socks) so I'm actually giving the other ones away. I'm making a set of ears and a tail for the Roxas of my cosplay group, since for our November meet up, he's gonna be Ritsuka. :3 (It's school uniform / casual themed, and I neeeeed to work on that for Xion, sometime. >_< Uh, I'm also considering helping my friend make a few fursuits, experimenting with a freebie for ahh... So! As you all know it's flu season, my LEAST favorite time of year! Not only am I a paranoid hypochondriac, but I have a shitty immune system to match. I'm currently suffering through my 4th ailment, this one being a head cold. (After getting over two flus, and a sore throat!)

It was so bad that this morning I couldn't stand from the dizziness, and right now I still can't move my head around too much or I feel like collapsing. x_x I called in sick to my 8 hour shift today, and I have a 7 hour one tomorrow. I can't miss that, cause if you miss two or more shifts in a row, you have to present a doctor's note, and my doctor is home sick. =_=

My room will FINALLY be finished, after 7 weeks of my uncle (Who I'm not currently speaking to) fucked around. My parents paid him 1,500$ for a 12' x 12' bedroom to be rewalled, repainted and having flooring put down. I've been sleeping on my couch / at my aunt's house for almost 2 months now, and I'm pretty sure that's why I'm sick again. (My downstairs' rooms are super drafty, and my aunt's house is the same.) He went to my parents for more money, and they flat out refused, so he stopped coming here completely. He told me that it'd take only 3 or 4 weeks, but I don't think coming in at noon and leaving an hour later counts. Now we have this guy, Paul I think, working on my room which is cool, since now I'll FINALLY have a bloody place to sleep, but I don't like strangers in my house... *has been all fidgety about it* Plus, it's SO loud and I have a headache constantly from my stupid cold.

Uhh, the Halloween cosplay meet up went well! While only 6 of the 11 or 12 people showed up, it was still fun! There was Halloweentown!Xion (Moi! ;D), Halloweentown/AU!Xigbar (Holly/Bolt!), Halloweentown!Zexion (Amanda), a ninja (Shawn) and then a couple costumless people. X3 I WISH I could of gotten more photos but my hands were kinda full with a coat, candy and Holly's wig later on. X3 We hung around for a while at the mall (Despite the security sketching after us XD) and then went to see Saw 6, which SUCKED by the way!

We're hopefully going to be doing a casual/school uniform meet up in November sometime~

And! My budget looks WONDERFUL for college and my trip to Texas! I'm going to be going in time for Anime Overload in Austin, which will be a TIIIIIIIIME! <333
